Hosseini is fascinated by encounters with people she cannot communicate with and wishes to look into their character differences. In this work, she observes the inner states and reactions of men while they're watching soccer and by seeing diverse people, she gains a deeper and better understanding of the society she lives in. As she is herself a part of the scene, she reflects on the gap that exists between herself and her surrounding community, within the space of the Irish Pub. We often find ourselves in an environment in which we don't belong and each of us reacts differently to it. If it were you, what would you have done in such a setting?
